The thread to discuss anything TFTC-related that maybe doesn't merit it's own thread but is nonetheless something you'd like to share, regardless.
What's been on my mind is looking at the first segment for Bordello Of Blood, I notice this is the only time Crypty apparently swears, using shit and bullshit. Have there been any other instances of him using profanity or is this it? I don't recall him ever swearing on the show. I find it pretty funny when he swears in BOB.

Haha, this is funny! It's been many years since I watched this movie, so I don't recall the swearing part, but now I plan to re-watch it just for that!
I don't recall any instances of his swearing, which is strange as swearing was not uncommon in the show.

Indeed, many episodes could get quite profane. It's amusing to imagine Crypty having a swearing fit.

If Catherine was going to end up a vampire anyway at the end of Bordello of Blood, then why did Lilith try to kill her anyway? Why not have the two of them join forces since Catherine was being turned anyway?
How did Rafe know about pulling the rope to send the coffin down into the basement when he was in the coffin when he first visited the Bordello?

Probably just a plot hole during the writing of BOB that didn't occur to anybody during the shoot. It's been a long time since I last watched BOB, but those are good points.

In "Fatal Caper", CK says he has British heritage and yet his parents are a two-faced carnival freak and a mummy.

I figure he's probably half-British on Enoch's side at least, I always figured Enoch likely would've been of British descent.

When Crypty said he's British I figured he must have at least some partial British lineage through Enoch given Enoch's fair features.

Could of random TFTC thoughts I've had lately:
1. Crypty apparently has a possible real name, if the pilot episode of the animated series (While The Cat's Away) is to be taken as canon. It's said the owner of the mansion is named T. Charles Kingman, a name that when abbreviated is TCK... The Crypt Keeper. Whether this is merely an alias or his actual name is anybody's guess. I wonder what the T possibly stands for?
2. I watched Lethal Weapon 2 not long ago and notice in the scene where Murtaugh, his family and friends are gathering to see the commercial his daughter is in a TFTC promo is seen on the TV and a clip from And All Through The House is shown, which has the late Mary Ellen Trainor in it. Trainor also had a prominent role in the Lethal Weapon films and was in all of them. Wouldn't this create some sort of a paradox within the Lethal Weapon universe?

I can't believe next year will be the 30th anniversary of the show.

Me, neither. I hope we get something good to mark the occasion.

Me, neither. I hope we get something good to mark the occasion. I doubt HBO and/or Warner Bros. will do anything special.

Sometime soon I'd like to re-watch some of the episodes and see how they've held up. A lot of episodes I haven't watched since the DVD's came out. I'm more specifically focusing on episodes that are neither the best (Yellow, What's Cookin', Fitting Punishment) nor the worst (The Pit, The Kidnapper, Halfway Horrible).

You never know. I have a hard time believing the 30th anniversary of such a seminal show like TFTC would go unnoticed or uncelebrated. It'd be nice if it could get some attention for it's anniversary and though it's probably a lot to expect, a Blu-ray release.
Me as well. It's been so long since I last marathoned the show from start to finish with all the seasons, but I've been wanting to. Particularly 6 and 7 to see if there's any other good episodes, as most of the episodes in both are either terrible or so-so, barring a few really good ones in both.
Also another random TFTC thought I had recently; watched the newer version of It (excellent movie BTW) and seeing as it's set in the Summer of 1989 when TFTC premiered, kinda unfortunate Pennywise didn't take the form of the Crypt Keeper as one of his forms to scare the kids. WB owns TFTC and they also distributed It, so I'm sure they could've used Crypty. Seeing as he terrified so many kids back then I think he would've been a fitting form for Pennywise to choose. Wonder if maybe it was at least considered?
